As a lecturer I have obligation supervising pre-graduation thesis'. I have supervised now about fifteen thesis'. Students in this applied university are capable of making good research and all the subjects have been interesting. Most of the subjects fall in to category software engineering which is also my expertise. I have to excuse the first students that I was guiding, I was focusing quite a lot the outlook and structure. When understanding goes a bit further I have noticed that although research has made well and all the necessary steps are made for beliavable result the first planning HOW research is done and WHAT METHODS are used is the key to good result. This is seen especially in the case-studies. The result of the research varies a lot when it is done iteratively or in phases. I wish that students take few hours thinking the ways they are researching the subject, because it really matters.
